I recently stayed at The Van Zant House in Jacksonville for a few days while I was in town for work. The location was perfect, just a few blocks away from where I needed to be. The house had a great 70's era vibe and felt incredibly homey. The property was clean and comfortable, and had all the amenities I could possibly need during my stay. The owner was extremely helpful and responsive to all my inquiries.

    Totally recommend this hotel.

We had a great time playing pool in the house and loved the historical aspect of it. The location was convenient, with good restaurants nearby and it was close to where we were working. Additionally, the host was awesome and made us feel at home.

The house had a moldy smell that bothered our respiratory systems.

The history of the house and the cozy atmosphere were the best aspects of our stay. It felt like staying at your cool grandma's place, and we loved exploring the unique memorabilia. Additionally, the location was convenient, being close to good restaurants and only a few blocks from where we needed to be for work.

The cleanliness and maintenance of the place left much to be desired. The rooms and furnishings were in dire need of TLC, with old, worn-out items and an overall rustic smell.

The location of this budget-friendly accommodation is convenient. The pool table in the house is a fun feature, perfect for entertainment. Additionally, the living room and kitchen are well-maintained and meet expectations.

The limited bedroom space and uncomfortable bed setup can be a drawback.

The owner was helpful and responsive, providing everything we needed for our stay. The layout of the house was perfect for our family, with a spacious kitchen, a fun playroom, and cozy bedrooms. We especially loved the opportunity to teach our son how to play pool in Lynyrd Skynyrd's old stomping ground. We can't wait to book again!
